hello everyone! We're very sorry we haven't been updating our blog and our youtube channel! We had a lot of school work we had to do, but since school is now over, we will be updating it a lot more!

How To Clean Your Makeup Brushes!

Having trouble cleaning your brushes? Don't know which product to use? Scared your brush will ruin if you get water in it? Well, here are some tips and helpful tricks I learned from cleaning my own brushes, and some answers to your questions. :)

STEP 1
Okay so first of all, what do you clean your brushes with?
You can use anything you want/have.
You could buy a brush cleanser, which can go up to $30, or you can just use shampoo or soap.

I would also recommend to use a hair conditioner to make your brushes soft and fluffy, since the soap can be drying sometimes.

STEP 2
Before you start actually washing your dirty brushes, have a cloth or a paper towel lied down so you can dry your brushes on it.

Some people recommend to dry your brushes upside down to prevent the water from getting into the actual brush and ruin it, but I think drying them just laying on the towel works fine.

STEP 3
Wet your brush in water
STEP 4
Put soap on your hand and begin to clean the brush back and forth.
STEP 5
Rinse off the dirt and soap from the brush.
FYI: you may need to repeat step 4 a few times if your
brush is really dirty (like the foundation, concealer, and powder brushes.)

            STEP6 - optional
Put a little bit of hair conditioner on your hand and repeat step 4

Finally, rinse off the brush, making sure there is no makeup or soap in it, and lay it down on a wash cloth or a paper towel.

TIP: I usually lay my brushes down near the window to dry them faster with the warmth of the sun, but you can just keep them on your vanity or where ever.

Q & A

Q: How often should I clean my makeup brushes?
A: Cleaning your brushes is recommended once a week, you should clean your foundation, concealer, and powder brushes more often though.

Q: Does the price and quality of a brush make a difference in cleaning?
A: The price doesn't matter but the quality does. If your brush is shedding all the time and isn't very soft (is rough) there will be more chances of it ruining faster with or without cleaning.

Q: Does the brand of brush cleanser you use matter?
A: No, whatever works for you.

Q: Are high end brushes better than drugstore ones?
A: Not always. Most high end brushes are professional ones and that's why they are so soft and a great quality. But some drugstore brushes are good as well. For example, Ecotools brushes are a great quality they are very soft. Also, they are made with recycled products and their handle is made from Bamboo. Also, some ELF brushes are a good quality and are soft.

Q: Is it hard to clean makeup brushes?
A: not at all.

Q: How long does it take to clean makeup brushes?
A: depends on how many brushes you have and what steps you do and what you chose to skip.

Have any more questions? Leave them in the comments! I'd be more than happy to answer them for you!

And remember, practice makes perfect! :)

Stay beautiful.

Face Lips Hair guide

                                                        Listen up girls !

I'm here to give you some advice about skin care, hair masks and lips hydrating... first thing i wanna talk about is skin care  there is 3 things the girl Must have in there cosmetics bag in order to have good skin they are moisturizer, face scrub, and makeup remover .... so today i will help you to make your own makeup remover and face scrub in this section of my today's blog.....
lets start... in order to make your very own makeup  remover you will need:
1. Extra virgin olive oil
2. Aloevera water ( you can find it in any drugstore)
3. an empty bottle
put everything into the bottle, shake well, and use as needed.

Another thing you can make yourself is a face scrub... you will need:
1. Extra virgin olive oil
2. Honey
3. Sugar
put it into a container and mix.
then rub it on your face in circular motions for 30 seconds, and remove with warm water. pay dry with a wash cloth.
apply favorite moisturizer.

Another thing you HAVE to take care of are your lips. You  don't want them to be dry and not have their natural color to them.... so to make the simple lip scrub you will need:
1. vaseline
2.honey
3. sugar
4. a container
mix all ingrediens together and rub it on your lips for 10 seconds.
tip: use a tooth brush to help you remove all the dead skin off your lips.
wash off with warm water and apply lipbalm.

And the last but not least your hair mask. All you will need is 2-3 egg yolks ( depending on the length of your hair)
mix them together and massage it into your hair. leave mask on for 10-15 minutes before washing hair. it will make your hair stronger and longer. rinse off with water and shampoo. Use conditioner after!

I hope these tips were helpful!
if you have any questions, leave them in the comments.

XOXO,
Margarita.

DIY Summer Clothes!!!

                            hey girls!
So summer is coming up soon, and we are all excited for the summer vacation!
So summer clothes can get expensive... For example, you know those gorgeous ombre shorts

... they can go up to $70!! i know right!! And those gorgeous crop tops, they can go up to $50! So if you don't want to spend a bunch of money on summer clothes, or if you're on a budget, here are some amazing DIY things you can do!

So the first DIY I'll show you, is OMBRE SHORTS!

Ok. So first you want to get some shorts that you either don't like, or just any cheap shorts you have...
You'll also need some bleach, or fabric color, water, and a bucket or something so you can put them in.
*If you want the shorts to ombre from jean color to white, then just put the shorts in the bucket full of bleach and water, for about 2-6 hours, and if you want them completely bleached, leave them for 12 hours, or just over night.
*if you want the shorts to ombre with color, first put the fabric color into the water, and dip the shorts as much as you want into the water, and leave for about 3-10 minutes. then dip them some more, but wait for less time, and do the same process until you're happy with it, and you'll get gorgeous ombre shorts!
Make sure you wash them with water after, and make sure there's no color coming out of the shorts when you're done.
* you can also add studs in the back pockets, or distress the ends of your shorts if you want!
If you're a little confused, here's a helpful video on how to do ombre shorts! click here to watch it!

***If you don't have shorts, or you don't want to buy shorts just for this DIY, you can make your own shorts! just get an old pair of jeans, and cut them off, and you'll have your very own shorts! it's easy!***
if you want to watch a video on how to cut jeans into shorts, here's a helpful video you can watch! click here to view it!

the next DIY i have for you is a CROP TOP!
So first you have to get a top that you don't really wear, or just a boring plain top you don't like.
then, measure of how much you want to cut off, and get you scissors, and carefully cut off the top. you can also cut the sleeves if you want.
*if you want to make a high low top, cut a little bit more off at the front of the top.
*if you want to have the top as shown in the picture, cut off the back as you want, but leave two pieces at the front to tie them up into a cute knot!
*you can also make a fringed crop top, just cup off a bunch of little pieces at the front and/or the back and you'll have a cute fringed crop top!
here's a helpful video you can watch if you're confused! click here to view it!

Another cute DIY is a high low skirt!

a high low skirt is just basically cutting off shorter at the front, well, i don't explain very well, so here's a video you can watch to help you! click here to view it!
*you can also make a high low dress with these tips!

So hopefully these tips will help you with creating your own affordable summer clothes, and gave you some ideas of what you'd be wearing for summer 2013!

Please leave a comment if you would wear/make any of these DIYs and what your favorite clothing piece for summer is!

Should I Tell My Crush I Like Him?

How many of you girls have a crush on someone ? Probably most of you... I dont really know why , but most of the girls starting from 10 years old till around  16 think that if they tell  their crush that they like him it will do wonders .... but it is so untrue!

You should NOT tell your crush that you like him... As proved boys communicate to solve problems girls communicate to build relationships....  when you tell him that you like him he will assume that you want some thing from him and it will turn him down ...

There is a lot of other ways to let your crush know you like him !If you would like to know some please comment!:)

Good luck :)

Margarita
